PROLOGUE
I have yet to learn the paths in which you linger, the sins in which you wallow, the despair that is your heart.



Chapter 1. TALES OF AUMRIN SONG
The story I speak is the one you should hear. The story I keep is the one you should understand.


Chapter 2. SONG MAN RUI LIVES
Looking into the glass, I see not myself, but you. I wonder, how long before I find myself in your eyes.

Chapter 3. PROPRIETIES OBSERVED
Of the smiles she does beam and of the pouts she does display, I bear no grudge. Her beauty is skin-deep, and so is my love.


Chapter 4. HELLFEIST
In the web, between the lines, I see but see naught but two pairs of eyes.

Chapter 5. IN WHISPERS SPOKEN
What a tragedy to doubt! How abominable to suspect! The truth you tell of the love that I bear is one I'd rather forget.

Chapter 6. SCREAMING GHOSTS
In the waking hours of night the earth trembles in its fright of the creatures that are beyond its herds and play to death with knives of words.

Chapter 7. ELSEWHERE BOUND
The strings by which she moves me are not of silken thread, but of time spent and secrets bled upon the satin of her bed.

Chapter 8. THE WITCH'S HOUSE
She has those lips and a tilt to her hips, theyve stood the test of time. With them she has teased, pleased and killed... the darkness her rhythm, her rhyme.

Chapter 9. HOLY GHOST
I let live evil so subtle in its ways that it seemed not evil at all. But I have felt the knife stab, the sadistic twist... And live to see her fall.

Chapter 10. TURN POINT
I drown in sweet sorrow and shower cold revenge. Dress anew in garments of blood fresh, torn flesh...I let no wounds heal, let no bandages bind... And my love the dawn of the coming day never find.

EPILOGUE
No, this path has long been tread. You are far from first. We mark trails not with fallen bread, but soul-hunger, blood-thirst.
