This journal entry was made to lessen the emails/notes I get asking questions. ^^ I apologize if I missed or was very delayed in replying to some emails. I hope this helps.
I may modify or add entries according to questions I receive.
If you have any which are not answered here, feel free to leave a comment.
...It's a bit disorganized right now. I'll try to fix this when I can.

RE: REQUESTS AND COMMISSIONS
1) Do you accept requests?
No. Sorry. I decide for whom I make gift art. I do have kiribans and contests through which winners may make requests. I just can't handle everyone's requests anymore.
2) Do you accept commissions?
It depends on my workload but, usually, yes. I will indicate whether I'm open for commissions or not.
Right now. I'm not. T_____T
3) What kind of commissions?
PERSONAL. I would also accept commercial ones depending on the terms and if I can handle the workload alongside my studies.
TRADITIONAL. Pencils or Ink. On paper or on board.
DIGITAL. in Photoshop.
4) How much?
40 - 100 US$
Negotiable depending on complexity and shipping rates.
PAYMENT TRANSFER FEES excluded.
So it's cheaper when local.
Detailed inked illustrations
on board (11"x16") would be 75-100$
on paper (Canson A4): 50-75$
Character sketches (b&w)
on paper (Canson A4)
Inked: 50-60$, Pencil:40-50$
You'll receive the original piece, and a small print version.
With the inked illustrations I do the digital tinting for free
(the way it's done in my artworks)
Digital Paintings
40-50$
5) How can payments be made?
Through PayPal, Western Union or in person.
Payment is done after the primary sketch is approved.
I can't ship without it. XD

Sane-keeping 2. Bad Academic
Today I turned in the proposed outline for my dissertation. The first "defense" is next week. It's time to put things in perspective. Most of us spend our lives dabbling in cultures we barely understand. Consuming stories, from a different culture because it is strange and incomprehensible. Poring over posts on social media that are a world or two apart from our own. The appeal may seem initially exotic--but the strangeness is more often in our inability to know why things are that way. This is the sort of inadequacy we sometimes try to address...this is also the start for a good adventure story. Where I'm from, comics has always been linked to literacy. More specifically, to illiteracy. On one hand, it was a tool to educate those who cannot read. To educate who on what? The illiterate...on anything (health, doctrine, policy)...but also on HOW to read. It was used to teach English as much as it then became a medium that helps disseminate the mother tongue (to create a readership in
Sane-keeping 1. Deviant ways
For a while now I’ve been considering signing up for some new SNS platform for my art (yes, I do still draw) and photos and what not. But everywhere seems entirely too new, too trendy, too public. Since last year’s decision to turn my dA account into an “active” archive for my “old” artworks, I’m quite confident now that I neither intend to leave nor to become truly active again. But I have decided to put this space (and my subscription) to some use. Not necessarily good use, but some sort of use nonetheless.
From now on I’ll be using this journal to dwell on a topic that is probably th
Naps on Maps
A process journal for an inked piece that took 5 or so sit-downs over 5 or so months to finish.
(I did try to draw some comics in between, and well, failed to finish that.)
I'd like to be producing one piece a month, to be honest, but if I can finish 3 a year I'd be content.
So, here is "Against Time and The World, Inexhaustible"
Here is the "inspiration" -- the artwork that I decided to redraw...but not really.
Here are some detail shots from the finished work.
As for the process: I took a grand total of one WIP photo of the sketch.
Luckily my friend, who has moved out of dA, documents our Drink-and-Draw on her social media, so I get

Look who found her back-up PSD files and decided to repaint old digital art.
Prepping old works for an art book: that's what I'm actually doing. Yes. Let's pretend this is a good idea.
Happy New Year everyone!I'm hoping it's a better one.
Either way, it is time to whip out the new calendars.
Since I did manage a bunch of new inked pieces this year, I decided to put together a calendar that's partly retrospective, and partly new stuff.
[I'll shoulder the shipping of whoever can guess ten book titles from my shelf. haha!]
It's a Cradle of Whispers desk calendar set put together for my personal use, but I've been selling a few copies to lo
