When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

Visitation of the Goddess upon Mergaux of the Far Reach
And again on that descent she spake through hearer's mouth with a voice that catches in her throat the horrors upon herself she'd wrought~ ~~ Mergaux dressed according the fashion of the Court of Clouds-Rivers-Weald...and yes, possessed. As everyone who reads CofW would know by now, Mergaux slew the human incarnation of the Goddess: then Prince Elessario. This death marked the beginning of the Storm Season--the reign of the Zdalnzuiz Sorceresses Abiedette Povran, Jimeiarri Povran, and Mergaux Lexoir--as well as the start of the incessant haunting that drove the last to new heights of madness. This haunting was the only interaction left between Goddess and Mistress...until Isachar, Isobel, and their companions summoned Mergaux from the grave and with her traveled to the kingdom of Desiradera, the Goddess' most recent incarnation. ~~ I drew and inked this last Sunday night, one sitting. Colored/Decorated it in Photoshop yesterday. It's actually very simple despite the texture and, for a 2-night thing, I like how it turned out. I'm working on two more pieces, but work has been getting in the way. XD I just couldn't resist realizing this one when I felt the urge to draw and FINISH something. Again, categorization is based on which aspect required more effort/time. Hence, traditional. |
