Slip
and slithering drink
a sestina of color
curling like smoke
serum like
the nights spent
succumbing
soundly to the music
surrounded
so many bodies swooning
but one will suffice
whom the venom's sting
shall fill
and surely savor it

I've always wanted to draw a bar scene... *jokirkpatrick's contest hit my atheist heart like divine intervention _{^{do not take metaphor seriously}} ...and yes, visual chaos is love around here.

The characters here are Dan (evil looking hottie with the green streaks)
and his lover Reggie (both the one in the sweater and the one in the technicolor lace, aka Hampster)
Nobody knows if Reggie is a girl or a boy... but apparently Reggie spends days as a student and nights tending at Dan's bar "Serpentine Kiss"
It's really quite intriguing if I say so myself.

The male couple: Isobel and Urdul from Cradle of Whispers ...I don't know how the hell Urdul got Isobel to bar-hop with him... must have gotten him drunk beforehand.
The couple at the bg: Touha and Baiko from Ephemeral Lustre ..apparently, Touha is still a better dance partner than Baiko's husband, Ryuusei.}

I'm happy with how it turned out.. crummy effects and all. As of the moment I can't afford to spend much time on any one piece >< everything must be done in one sitting! No inking... gahh.. I look forward to finals/term paper week being OVER...so I can draw at leisure pace.
