My first artwork of the year *sniffsniff*
Urania: The Greek Muse of Philosophy, Astronomy and Astrology The globe, compass, and star-spangled cloak are all here... I just didn't have enough space for the turtle (she's stepping on one. lol.) 1/9 of The Hidden Muses series for  I couldn't resist showing a bit of face for this one, since I wanted to portray that dreamy, far away look and it was getting quite impossible with the mask on. Let's just say this "uncovering" is "discovering"...Urania is, after all, all about the quest for truth.
