Description

A poster-like rendition of the Japanese Hagoromo Folktale
in an Amano-inspired style.

I had to repaint this drawing (original was in three tone ink and copic) because I was dissatisfied with the RUSHED traditional coloring. Then again, I don't have that much time for digital coloring either...so yeah...goodbye details. XD

I'd like to print this colored picture out and put a pen to it. That is, I want to manually draw over this painting. I haven't figured out how to do that yet (without getting murdered for using up all our printer's ink). XD

Thanks :iconundyingfenix: for watching me finish this and helping me decide what to tweak. It was inspired by certain frustrations--an urge to scold someone for not conceptualizing adequately--so I guess it's a productive way to "release" negative vibes. ;)

Enjoy~

If you're gonna have it printed out, ask for a sample of their paper. If it's a thick enough (like, Corona type quality) and fairly smooth (not glossy, of course) type of copy paper it should be OK. The problem with regular paper is that they absorb much of the ink and screws the color, and worse, wrinkle up. >3> Canson might absorb the ink a bit too much especially on those large areas.

I would suggest using bristol board instead( 2 ply or whatever thinnest you can find) or vellum. If you happen to have any spare GHG artboard pwede rin yun :XD:
